Empathy is in the Eyes of the Beholder

They say the eyes are the window into our souls, and one professor, Simon Baron-Cohen believes you can test how empathetic you are by guessing the emotion a person is feeling by looking at their eyes.

Waka Waka Waka; most of us think of Elmo, the Cookie Monster or perhaps counting to 10 with Count Dracula when we think of the popular American show, 'Sesame Street,' but now research has found that it's educational impact is actually similar to early years in school.

Ahead of England hosting the Rugby World Cup this year the education secretary, Nicky Morgon has launched a new education initiative intent on helping students develop grit and resilience through the sport.

Counting With Apples and Oranges

I'm sure at some point in Primary School most of us have been taught simple numeracy through examples of buying objects like apples and oranges (I even recall being lucky enough to use smarties in one class!) but Pentland Primary is taking numeracy challenges to a new level by putting this into real-life practice.
