Play Scotland have launched a new campaign, "4 Asks for Play" which requests investment into play time for children including regular road closures in residential areas and providing staff provision for play initiatives.

Research has shown that people believe the internet has a more positive influence on education and personal relationships, but a bad influence on our morality and on politics. 

Scottish National Heritage recently conducted a survey which has found that children's engagement and interest in learning increases in both school and pre-school with outdoor learning. That's reason enough to get out in the local parks and playground and get busy studying!

Connor Newall knows the shattering effects of knife crime first-hand; his own cousin was murdered in 1996 and now he has taken on a lead role in a short film about knife crime for the No Knives, Better Lives campaign.

Despite a lower back injury from November last year, 23-year-old Stephanie Willis from East Mains has kicked back into action and triumphed at the recent Scottish International Taekwondo Federation Championships taking home three golds.
