What makes a good teacher? How do we determine which candidates who are competing for a teaching programme are going to become the best teachers?

Studies from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have found that teachers' self-belief is key to improving education.

A motivated and dedicated class of P6s from St George's Primary in Glasgow are hoping to walk over and under as many bridges as possible to raise money and awareness for Glasgow South West Foodbank. 

24 year-old Stephanie Stevens, former nurse at Kirkcaldy's Victoria Hospital is inviting people to get fighting fit and make some money for charity, Enliven Mama Africa in Cupar. Stephanie says, "They see us as a gift from God."

"Youth have far too long been the lost demographic."
